Approving leaves of absence

Only an HR administrator or HR generalist can approve a leave of absence.

Note: This process is not applicable if you use the Absence Management application.
  1. Select Administrator > To Do > Leave Of Absence.
  2. Click the Pending tab.
  3. Select the leave to approve, and click Approve.
    The status is changed to Approved. The request is available to both the employee and the manager.

    After the status is approved, you can update the leave and keep the Approved status, update the leave and change the status, or cancel the leave.

    Employees and managers can update an Approved leave. The status is automatically changed to Requested.
