Fit analysis

You can compare the resource's qualifications (skills, competencies, education, and credentials) with the Desired and Essential success elements defined for a position. This can be the position to which the resource is assigned, or a different position.

The qualifications used in calculating a percent fit or percent fit with margin are configured on the Percent Fit tab of the Organization Setup form.

For example, imagine that a position includes Networking as a Desired (but not Essential) skill. In this example, the organization percent-fit settings exclude skills that are not classified as Essential. In this case, Networking is not included in the comparison between the position's qualifications and the resource's qualifications.
