Reinstating resources

An HR administrator can reinstate a previously terminated employee. No rehire process is needed and the previous primary work assignment is reactivated. For this action to be displayed, the employee must be terminated and the work assignment inactive.

If more than one work assignment is found, the administrator is notified.

  1. Select Administrator > Resources > Resources.
  2. Select the employee to reinstate and click Reinstate.
  3. On the Request To Reinstate a Resource form, specify this information:
    Reason
    Select Reinstate.
    Relationship Status
    Select ACTIVE.
  4. Click Submit.
    This action hides any termination dates from the employee and managers. The termination is only shown in the audit log.
