Managing pending requests

  1. Select Administrator > Home > Pending Requests.
    Or, select Administrator > To Do > Pending Requests.
    Or, select Generalist > Home > Pending Requests.
  2. On the Pending Requests tab, select an employee request to take action on.
    Optionally, click Filter to open the column headers for narrowing the results list.
    Optionally, open the request in update mode to verify that it is complete and acceptable. Cancel the update to return to the results list.
  3. Click More Actions and select one of these actions:
    • Approve - advances the request, which is displayed on the All Requests tab in Approved status
    • Cancel Request - halts the request, for example at the employee's direction. The request is displayed on the All Requests tab in Cancelled status
    • Reject - denies the request, which is displayed on the All Requests tab in Rejected status
    • Return - sends an incomplete request back to the employee. The request is displayed on the All Requests tab in Returned status.
    • Update - enables you to make changes to the request. The request remains in Requested status.
    Requests that are listed on the All Requests tab are not available for action.
