Creating employee recurring time records

  1. Select Payroll Administrator > Time Record Processing > Recurring Time Records.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Employment ID
    Specify the employee's employment ID.
    Work Assignment
    Specify a work assignment. If no work assignment is specified, then the employee's primary work assignment is used by default.
    Pay Code
    Specify a pay code.
    Dates
    Specify a date range. If no begin date is specified, then the current date is used by default.
    Hours
    Specify the number of hours. This field is required if the pay code has a calculation type of Normal Rate, Calculate Gratuity, Hours Only, Percent Rate, Rate Shift Differential, Percent Shift Differential, Percent With Rate Shift Differential, or Percent With Percent Shift Differential.
    Rate Or Amount
    Specify the rate or amount. If no hours are specified, then this field is required. If the pay code has a calculation type of Non Cash Income or Do Not Calculate and no rate or amount is specified, then the rate or amount from the pay code is used by default.
    Currency
    Specify the currency. If a rate or amount is specified, then this field is required. If the pay code has a calculation type of Non Cash Income or Do Not Calculate, the currency is specified from the pay code by default.
  4. Optionally, specify these time record overrides:
    Position
    Specify the position to be used by default for the created time records. This value overrides the value that is used by default from the work assignment.
    Job
    Specify the job to be used by default for the created time records. This value overrides the value that is used by default from the work assignment.
    Organization Unit
    Specify the organization unit to be used by default for the created time records. This value overrides the value that is used by default from the work assignment.
    Location
    Specify the location to be used by default for the created time records. This value overrides the value that is used by default from the work assignment.
    Legal Entity
    Specify the legal entity to be used by default for the created time records. This value overrides the value that is used by default from the work assignment.
    Legal Establishment
    Specify the legal establishment to be used by default for the created time records. This value overrides the value that is used by default from the work assignment.
  5. Specify this information:
    Check Group
    Specify a check group to group created time records for payroll cycle processing.
    Process Group
    Specify a process group to group time records for tax calculation purposes. You can use process groups to tax pay codes separately but combine earnings in a single payment.
    Tax Frequency Override
    Specify how to override normal taxation.
    Deduction Cycles
    Specify the deduction cycles time where records are created.
    Comment
    Specify a comment.
  6. Click Save.
