Viewing current and historical employee tips records

After you calculate tips, you can view current and historical tips records.

  1. Run the Calculate Tips action.
  2. Select Cycle Processing > Tips > Tip Credits and Shortages.
  3. Select and open a tips record.
  4. View the current and historical tips information. There are three sections that can be displayed in the tips record:
    Section Description
    Current Contains calculated tips related values that have been calculated and used to adjust the total wages for the employee within the same calculation group.
    History Contains employee tips totals with a record type of History within the same calculation group.
    Combined Current and History Contains the values of the employee tips totals if the current and history records were processed simultaneously.
