Garnishment categories

Garnishment categories group garnishment types. They represent a general kind of garnishment. To streamline the setup, maintenance, and reporting of garnishments, use garnishment categories to define the rules that HR Payroll uses to calculate garnishments. Garnishment categories are used in garnishment rules and in payment calculation.

Garnishment categories are system-defined. You cannot define additional garnishment categories. These garnishment categories are delivered with HR Payroll for the United States:
