Appraisal text

Appraisal text is displayed on employee and manager appraisals. It can be tailored to a stage in the appraisal process.

Note: Appraisal text is not required. You can define appraisal text for any, none, or all of the possible appraisal stages. You can also use a mix of form-level and organization-level appraisal text for an appraisal.

You can specify appraisal text at these levels:

Specify appraisal text at the organization level In Administrator > Set Up > Performance > Appraisal Text, you can specify appraisal text for each appraisal stage. See Defining appraisal text for resource appraisals at the organization level.
Specify appraisal text at the appraisal form level On the appraisal form rules, you can use the organization's default appraisal text. If so, the text is displayed for each of the appraisal text stages where the organization has appraisal text. You can overwrite it. If you do not use the default text, you can specify different text or leave all fields blank for that form. See Defining appraisal text for appraisal forms.
