Configuring details

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Performance > Organization Configuration.
  2. Select Details.
  3. Specify this information:
    Appraisal Score Calculation Method
    From the Normalization Calculation Method list, select Percent Normalization Calculation or Linear Normalization Calculation.
    Appraisal Automation

    Select the Automate Appraisal Reassignment check box to automatically reassign employee performance appraisals to the new manager when an employee or manager is reassigned. For example, when the resource is transferred, promoted, or terminated.

    Appraisal Due Date Alert

    In the Days Before Due Date field, specify the number of days to display an alert next to the appraisal before the due date. By default, an alert is displayed 15 days before the due date. The alert continues to be displayed until the appraisal is completed.

    Weighted Responsibilities

    Select the Use Weighted Responsibilities check box to enable weighted responsibilities. If you select this option, you can add weights to responsibilities on positions, jobs, and appraisal forms.

    If you specify a number in the Total Weight Default field, the number is defaulted to all positions. It can be overridden on individual positions and on position sections on individual appraisal forms. The total of the position responsibility weights must equal the appraisal section weight before a resource appraisal can be created. This total must include the responsibilities defaulted from jobs.

    Appraisal Form Section Weights

    Select the Must Equal 100% check box if you want the total of all the weighted sections to equal 100%.

  4. Click Save.
