Raves

Raves, also known as Employee Recognition, can be used by employees to recognize one another for doing excellent work. Users can create personalized raves, which can be categorized according to the skills and attributes. Employees can recognize one another and include a personalized comment and attachment. You can configure email templates so that when one employee creates a rave about another, emails are distributed to others.

Before employees can create raves, an administrator must complete these tasks:

Task Description
Enable employee engagement. See Enabling employee engagement.
Assign the Employee Recognition Administration role to an administrator. See Assigning the employee recognition administration role.
Set up a Recognition Program for your organization. See Setting up a recognition program.
Designate the Recognition Program you created as the Rave Program. See Designating a recognition program as a rave program.
Set up Recognition Categories that correspond to skills and attributes. See Setting up recognition categories.
Set up Recognized By and Recognized Employee email templates. Perform this task if you want emails to be sent to employees and managers when an employee creates a rave. See Setting up email templates.
