Defining appraisal text for resource appraisals at the organization level

You can define text that is displayed on the header page of employee and manager appraisals, based on the stage of the appraisal process. To edit multiple instructional fields, see Editing appraisal text at the organization level.

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Performance > Appraisal Text.
  2. Click Create.
  3. On the Appraisal Text Setup form, specify the appraisal text and click Save.

    Specify this information:

    Text For

    Select where the text is displayed.

    • Manager Appraisal In Draft: Text defined for this stage is displayed on Draft appraisal forms in Manager Space.
    • Employee Appraisal In Draft: Text defined for this stage is displayed on Draft self appraisals in Employee Space.
    • Manager Appraisal In Progress: Text defined for this stage is displayed on In Progress appraisal forms in Manager Space.
    • Employee Appraisal In Progress: Text defined for this stage is displayed on In Progress self appraisals in Employee Space.
    • Manager Appraisal Finalized: Text defined for this stage is displayed on Finalized appraisal forms in Manager Space.
    • Manager Appraisal Acknowledgment: Text defined for this stage is displayed to the manager when opening an acknowledged employee appraisal in the inbasket.
    • Employee Appraisal Acknowledgment: Text defined for this stage is displayed to employees when they select the Acknowledge action to acknowledge an appraisal submitted by the manager.
    • Upline Manager Approval: Text defined for this stage is displayed to upline managers when they select the Approve action to approve an appraisal submitted by the manager.
    Active
    The appraisal text is active by default. Clear the check box to make it inactive.
    Note: There can be only one active appraisal text for each appraisal stage.

    Specify the text to be displayed. This is a Rich Text Field (RTF) field that can be used for formatting.
