Creating a location and facility manager

  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management.
  2. Select Setup > Locations > Locations.
  3. Click Create.

    The Facility page is displayed.

  4. Specify this information:
    Effective Date

    Specify the date when the location is available to users for selection.

    HR Location

    Specify the unique code that represents the location.

    Description

    Add a detailed description of the location.

    Active

    Clear the check box to hide the location from users.

  5. Click the Location tab.
  6. Specify this information:
    Country

    Select the country code.

    Address/City

    Specify the address.

    State/Zip/County

    Specify the city, state, and county.

    Other Location
    Provide additional location details. This field accepts a maximum of 60 characters.
  7. Click Save.

    The Facility Manager tab is enabled.

  8. Optionally, on the Facility Manager tab, select a resource from the list of managers for that location.
    You can assign one or more facility managers to one location. You can assign a facility manager to multiple locations.
    If no one is listed, then you must create a location manager.
  9. Click Save.
