Setting up recognition categories

You can set up recognition categories that correspond to skills so that employees can recognize one another using raves. For example, you can create recognition categories for accountability, customer satisfaction, excellence, execution, and teamwork. The recognition categories are available for all recognition programs.
  1. Sign in as Administrator. The administrator must be assigned the Employee Recognition Administration role.
  2. Select Employee Engagement > Raves > Setup > Recognition Categories.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Recognition Category
    Provide a name for the category.
    Description
    Optionally, provide a description for the category.
    Badge
    Optionally, select a color for the badge. The color is displayed next to the category description.
    Active
    Verify that the check box is selected if you want the recognition category to be displayed for employees who are using raves.
  5. Click Save.
