Configuring the Mobile Manager tab

The administrator must designate employees as mobile managers and select tiles to be displayed in the application.
  1. On the Mobile Manager tab, select the Enable check box.
  2. In the Header Color field, select a color.
    This field specifies the overall theme color for the Mobile Manager application. If a primary theme color or secondary theme color is selected, or if a user selects a theme from the Navigation menu in Infor Go, this color is overridden.
  3. Select the tiles to make available to mobile managers.
    Title Name Description
    Team Fit Managers can see a chart showing information about each employee's calculated fit for their role and other potential roles.
    Time Off Managers can view scheduled time off and approve submitted requests for their reports.

    Views include an absence chart and a calendar.

    Requisitions Users can view their open job requisitions.
    Appraisal Status Users can view the status of their appraisals.
    Team Flight Risk Users can see the calculated risk for any employee on their team.
    Case Management Users can submit questions. Additional setup is required for this tile before it can be made available for users.

    Knowledge Base Users can browse existing help topics. Additional setup is required for this tile before it can be made available for use.

    Pulse Survey

    Employees can view and answer Continuous Performance pulse survey questions that are assigned to them.

    Managers can view responses to pulse survey questions from their team.

    Milestones

    Managers can view the upcoming birthdays and anniversaries of team members.

    Managers can send an email to the employee by clicking the mail icon that corresponds to the employee’s name.

    Team Recognition Managers can view recognition that their team members have received.
    Team Badges

    Managers can view badges that their team members have received.

    An active badge program must be set up, and the program must include at least one available badge.

    Badges are displayed as notifications. Users can navigate to badges from the home page if the Load On Home Page check box is selected.

    Team Goals Managers can access and view the goals of their team members. Managers can also track the status of goals and monitor goals that are overdue or due soon.
    Team Check-Ins Managers can track check-in meetings with their employees. Managers can record notes, accomplishments, challenges and tasks.
    Team Checklists Managers can monitor and assign checklists to their employees. Managers can also complete or cancel checklists.
    Note: If the Case Management or Knowledge Base tiles are selected, the HR Service Delivery Configuration section is displayed on the pane. Click Update to change the organization name that is displayed to mobile employees in the application.
  4. Select the Load On Home Page check box to show the tiles on the manager home page.
  5. Select an action type.
    • Simple: Select or clear the check boxes for actions to be enabled or disabled.
      • Add Work Assignment
      • Change Pay Rate
      • Promote
      • Transfer
      • Terminate
    • Advanced: All manager actions are retrieved from the MobileManagerMyTeam list in the Employee business class.
      • To modify the list of actions, use the Configuration Console. See Actions in the Configuration Console.
      • Any check boxes selected in the Simple action type are ignored by the system when the Advanced action type is selected.
  6. Optionally, in the Manager Banner Texts section, specify text that is displayed for the manager.
    • Up to four banner messages can be displayed.
    • Optionally, in the Start field, select the start date for the text to be displayed.
    • Optionally, in the End field, select the end date for the text to no longer be displayed.
      • If no start date or end date is set, the banner is displayed immediately.
      • If a start date is set without an end date, the banner is displayed on and after the set start date.
      • If an end date is set with no start date, the banner is displayed until the set end date.
      • If a start date and an end date are set, the banner is displayed within the set date range.
  7. Click Save.
