Configuring the Mobile Employee tab

The administrator must designate employees as mobile employees and select tiles to be displayed in the application.
  1. On the Mobile Employee tab, select the Enable check box.
  2. In the Header Color field, select a color.
    This field specifies the overall theme color for the Mobile Employee application. If a primary theme color or secondary theme color is selected, or if a user selects a theme from the Navigation menu in Infor Go, this color is overridden.
  3. Optionally, select the Enable Birthday And Anniversary Greetings check box.
  4. Select tiles to make them available to mobile employees:
    Tile Name Description
    Pay Checks Users can view a breakdown of their paycheck. Additional setup is required for this tile before it can be made available for users.

    Time Off Users can submit requests for time off and check their currently scheduled time off.

    Development Plan Users can view their development plan and trainings that are assigned to them.
    Employee Recognition (Raves) Users can submit positive feedback about their coworkers. Users can see when they have been recognized by a coworker. Additional setup is required for this tile before it can be made available to users.

    Nominations Employees can acknowledge colleagues by nominating them for awards.
    Case Management Users can submit questions. Additional setup is required for this tile before it can be made available for users.

    Knowledge Base Users can browse existing help topics. Additional setup is required for this tile before it can be made available for use.

    Pulse Survey

    Employees can view and answer Continuous Performance pulse survey questions that are assigned to them.

    Managers can view responses to pulse survey questions from their team.

    My Skills

    Users can add new skills, and view, edit, and delete existing skills.

    When configuring options, under My Skills, in the Configure Unrated Value field, specify a value. All skills with a rating value that is equal or lower than the configured value are considered as unrated.

    My Badges

    Users can view badges that have been awarded to them, all available badges, the badge leaderboard, and badges earned by their peers.

    An active badge program must be set up, and the program must include at least one available badge.

    Badges are displayed as notifications. Users can navigate to badges from the home page if the Load On Home Page check box is selected.

    My Goals Users can access and view their goals. They can also track the status of their goals and monitor goals that are overdue or due soon.
    My Qualifications Users can calculate how qualified they are for their current positions or how their qualifications match another position .
    Note: If the Case Management or Knowledge Base tiles are selected, the HR Service Delivery Configuration section is displayed on the pane. Click Update to change the organization name that is displayed to mobile employees in the application.
  5. Select the Load On Home Page check box to show the tile on the employee home page. If a tile is selected, this check box is selected by default.
  6. Optionally, in the Employee Banner Texts section, specify text that is displayed for the employee.
    • For example, use the banner to remind employees of important meetings or deadlines.
    • Up to four banner messages can be displayed.
    • Optionally, in the Start field, select the start date for the text to be displayed.
    • Optionally, in the End field, select the end date for the text to no longer be displayed.
      • If no start date or end date is set, the banner is displayed immediately.
      • If a start date is set without an end date, the banner is displayed on and after the set start date.
      • If an end date is set with no start date, the banner is displayed until the set end date.
      • If a start date and an end date are set, the banner is displayed within the set date range.
  7. Click Save.
