Rejecting, waiving, or cancelling an activity for a mentee

Note: 

If your organization uses Infor Learning Management, this action is not available to you. You can waive or cancel activities as components of a checklist. You can complete the checklist, but the status of the registration does not change in Infor Learning Management.

Regardless of who assigned activities to your mentees, you can perform the following actions:

  • (Learning budgets only) Reject your mentees' non-required activities while they are in Requested status.

  • Cancel your mentees' non-required activities at any time, even after they are registered for a session (but not when the activity is in Complete status).

  • Waive your mentees' required activities at any time, even after they are registered for a session (but not when the activity is in Complete status).

Any of these actions is final. If at a later date you want to re-assign the same activity, you must perform the Assign Activity action again.

Note: 

You can also perform this task on the Activities tab on the mentee's profile.

To reject, waive, or cancel an activity

  1. Select Mentor > Checklists > Development Tasks.
  2. Locate and open the activity you want to perform the action on.
  3. Select the appropriate action:
    • To reject a requested non-required activity, select Reject Activity, and select an action reason. Optionally, provide a comment, click OK, and click Yes to confirm.

    • To waive a required activity, select Waive, and select an action reason. Optionally, provide a comment, click OK, and click Yes to confirm.

    • To cancel a non-required activity, select Cancel Activity, and select an action reason. Optionally, provide a comment, click OK, and click Yes to confirm.

    The activity is moved to the Historical Activities list, which you can access on the Activities tab of the mentee's profile.
