Validating a checklist component for a mentee

You can validate a checklist component for your mentees if the checklist component was defined to allow mentors to validate it.

In addition, if the checklist component definition requires you to have the skill or proficiency that you are validating, you will not be allowed to validate the competency or skill if you do not have it or it is expired. To find out whether you can validate a checklist component, open it and scroll down to the Validation section on the Detail tab.

Note:

You will see all your mentees' checklist components, whether or not you can validate them.
