Designating a non-primary mentor as a primary mentor

When a direct or indirect report has several mentors, you can change the resource's primary mentor.

To designate a non-primary mentor as a primary mentor

  1. Select Manager > Develop Employees > Mentors.
  2. On My Staff, select the direct or indirect report for whom you want to designate a new primary mentor
  3. On the Mentors tab, select the non-primary mentor that you want to make primary, and click Designate As Primary Mentor.
  4. Click Yes.

    The mentor that you selected is now the primary mentor for the employee. The previous primary mentor remains as a non-primary mentor.
