Defining a draft requisition from a copy

You can copy an existing requisition and change it to create a draft requisition.

Perform this task to create multiple, distinct requisitions for the same position. This feature is useful when the requisitions differ in only one or two fields, for example location, hiring manager, or recruiter.

  1. Select Manager > Acquire Talent > Create Draft From Copy.

or select Acquire Talent > Candidates And Requisitions > More Actions > Create Requisition From Copy.

  2. In the From Job Requisition field, select the job requisition number, and click OK.

A new requisition is created in Draft status with the next available requisition number. Select Acquire Talent > Candidates And Requisitions and locate the new requisition.

You can update any field in the requisition until you request approval or approve the requisition. You can use notes, attachments, and the Expense link to add notes, attach files, and add expenses. For information about the fields, see Creating a requisition.

After the requisition is approved you can no longer add notes, attachments, or expenses, unless your organization modifies your security permissions. You can request updates to the requisition.

  3. Open the requisition on Acquire Talent > Candidates And Requisitions and update it as needed for the new requisition.
