Registering an employee for an activity session

If your organization is using Infor Learning Management, you must access Infor Learning Management to register a direct report for sessions (events). (Internal activities do not have sessions.) Access Develop Employees > Employee Learning, and click Manage. You can click Courses to view the direct reports registered for a particular course and register them for an event, or you can "impersonate a user", view the course the direct report is registered for, and register the direct report for an event. You can register an activity that has a status of Needs Registration or Wait Listed. You can register from your Development Tasks list, or from the employee's development plan or profile.

If the activity does not use sessions, registration is automatically confirmed when the activity is created (no learning budgets) or approved (learning budgets).

Open the activity on the Activities tab of the employee's development plan (Develop Activities > Development Plans) or full profile (My Staff > View Full Profile).

To register an activity that needs registration

  1. Select To Do > Development Tasks > My Actions tab.
  2. Open the activity to register.
  3. Click Register.

    The Register action is available if an open session exists, the day on which you want to register is on or within the registration begin and end dates, and there is not a confirmed or requested registration for the activity.

  4. Select the session for which you want to register the employee.

    The sessions list shows the session dates whether there is available space

  5. Click OK.

    The Registrations tab opens.

    The registration is confirmed or wait-listed as determined by the session capacity and organization learning rules related to wait-listing.
