Requesting terminations

  1. In Manager space, select My Staff > My Staff, and select the resource to terminate.
  2. On the Profile panel, click the View Full Profile link.
  3. Click Terminate.
  4. Specify the effective date, the reason for the termination, and the new relationship to organization and relationship status after the termination.

    For example, if it is a layoff situation and it is possible you might recall the employee in the future, you can keep the same relationship to organization but change the status to LAYOFF or INACTIVE. You can specify the date when the termination notice is sent to the employee, and add comments.

  5. Click Submit.

    The request is routed for approval. The termination information displays on the direct report's record only after all approvers have approved it.
