Putting goals on hold (goal leader)

Note: Bonus objective goals that are specified in Compensation and goals with a goal type where the Approve Goals By Year option is selected cannot be put on hold.

Goal leaders can put on hold or reactivate any goals that use a goal category for which they are responsible.

Goals that are requested to be put on hold can be updated using the Update action. After the goal has been put on hold, the update action is no longer available.

  1. Select Goal Leader > Resource Goals.
  2. Select the employee whose goal you want to put on hold.
  3. On the Active tab, select the goal to put on hold.
  4. From the All Actions menu, select Hold.
  5. Optionally, specify comments.
  6. Click OK.
    The goal is moved to the On Hold tab.
