Specifying results on organizational goals

  1. Select Administrator > Goals > Results Entry > Organizational Goals.
  2. Locate the goal on which you want to specify external results.
  3. Specify results directly in the months where you can specify results.
Open the goal to view or update the frequency and monthly result values on the Results tab or the result ranges on the Rating Criteria tab.
Note: If you select a month to include in calculation but leave its result as blank, it has a zero (0.00) value. To exclude a month from calculation, clear the Include In Calculation check box for that month.
  4. Click Save.
    • The results are updated on the form.

      Results include this information:

      Weight
The goal weight. For example: 25%
The calculation method and current results of that calculation
For example, Average: 10.5 (which represents the average of the numbers specified so far).
The rating level for the range that the results fall in
For example, 10.5 may be falling within level 5 (10 to 14.99).
      The current score
This is the rating * the weight. In the above example, 5 * 25/100 = 1.25
    • All directly aligned resource goals or all aligned resource goals, depending on the organizational goal's setting, are updated with the same results.
Note: This is a scheduled action that runs in the background, so you may not see the updates immediately on the resource goals.
  5. When all the results are added for the year, click Complete Result Entry to complete the organizational goal and its aligned resource goals. When goals are completed, you can no longer add results for this organizational goal.
