Inactivating and reactivating goals (administrator)

Note: 

These goals cannot be put on hold:

  • Bonus objective goals entered in Compensation
  • Goals that have a goal type where the Approval Goals By Year option is selected
  • Goals that are associated with a performance appraisal

Administrators can inactivate most goals and reactivate inactive goals. Administrators, managers, and employees cannot hold or inactivate a goal that has been associated with a performance appraisal. If the request was made, the manager must reject it.

Goals that have been requested for inactivation or hold can be updated using the Update action. After the inactivation or hold has been approved, the update action is no longer available.
