Purging candidate records

Administrators with the Purge Action Administrator security role can initiate purging external candidate records.

Before a candidate can be purged, their job applications must be inactive or they must be dispositioned and no longer associated with a job application. If an external candidate has active job applications, they are displayed on the purge list with an alert and the purge action is not available. Recruiters and hiring managers can disposition candidates.

Note: Purge and anonymize actions are permanent, and the data cannot be recovered.
  1. Select Purge Actions Administrator > Candidate.
  2. Review the list of purge-eligible candidates.
If a candidate has a red exclamation mark, the related job application must be inactivated or the candidate dispositioned before the data can be purged.
  3. Select the candidate, and click Purge.
  4. Specify the scheduling details for the purge action or click OK to run the action immediately.
  5. Click Yes to the Confirmation Required message.
