Reporting relationship scheduling

Use these guidelines to schedule actions for reporting relationship in rebuild maintenance.

Schedule one action using rebuild maintenance. The frequency of this action should be based on the occurrence of several variables.

  • Transfers and promotions
  • Manager structure changes
  • Direct/indirect manager changes on work assignments
  • Changes to Is a Manager field on work assignments
  • Expectations for work assignment updates to be reflected

Based on the average customer expectations and data load, a daily rebuild should be adequate. You can increase the rebuild frequency if your need is greater.

Include a large enough interval between rebuilds to keep actions from being queued up in Async.
