Leave Travel Allowance

Leave Travel Allowance (LTA), sometimes known as Leave Travel Concession (LTC), is the remuneration paid by an employer for a resource’s travel within the country, when on leave with the family or alone.

A resource can submit an LTA claim for reimbursement or apply for a taxable payment. Aside from the remuneration, the advantage that LTA provides to the employee is tax exemption in the year in which the LTA is filed.

The HR Administrator must approve the request for LTA.
