Selecting EEO-4 functions for organization units, positions, and work assignments

  1. Select Administrator > Reports > Regulatory Reporting > US > EEO-4 > Set Up > EEO-4 Functions.
  2. Select the appropriate function for each organization unit, position, and work assignment on the Org Unit Functions, Position Functions, and Work Assignment Functions tabs.

    The values that you can select for an EEO-4 function are already defined. You are not required to select a function for any of these but employees without an associated function will not be included in the report. If you select a function for any of these items, the lowest-level selection takes precedence. For example, a function selected for a work assignment is used instead of the function selected for the related position or organization unit.

    Note: 

    On the Work Assignment Functions tab, the EEO-4 Function Default column shows the function value that is associated with the organization unit or position. You can override this value by specifying a value in the EEO-4 Function field on the Position Functions tab.
