Maintaining achievement roles and achievement types

You can inactivate, update, or delete an achievement role or type on the achievement role or type list. You can also open the record to perform the same tasks. You must specify an effective date.

  1. Select Administrator > Qualifications > Achievements.
  2. Click the Achievement Roles or Achievement Types tab.
  3. Use these steps to maintain the role or type:
    • To inactivate an achievement role or achievement type, click the Active field for the achievement role or achievement type to inactivate directly on the list. Select No, and click Save. Specify the effective date when prompted.
      Note: When you inactivate an achievement role or an achievement type, it is not accessible when a candidate or resource achievement record is added.
    • To update the description for an achievement role or achievement type, update the description on the list. Click Save. Specify the effective date when prompted.
    • To delete an achievement role or achievement type, highlight the achievement role or achievement type. Click Delete, and click OK to confirm. Specify the effective date when prompted.
      Note: You cannot delete an achievement role or achievement type that is used by a candidate or resource achievement record.
