Maintaining education components

On the Education page, you create, inactivate, update, and delete an education, education specialization, and education institution from the list on the appropriate tab. You can also open the record to perform the action. You are always required to specify an effective date.

  1. Select Administrator > Qualifications > Education.
  2. Click the Education tab, Education Specializations tab, or Education Institutions tab.
  3. Maintain the education, education specialization, or education institution:
    • To inactivate an education, education specialization, or education institution, click the Active field for the one to inactivate, select No, and click Save. Specify the effective date when prompted.
      Note: If you inactivate an education, education specialization, or education institution, it is not accessible to a candidate or resource.
    • To update an education, education specialization, or education institution, open it and update any editable fields including the effective date, and click Save.
    • To delete an education, education specialization, or education institution, highlight it, click Delete, and click OK to confirm. Specify the effective date when prompted.
      Note: You cannot delete an education, education specialization, or education institution that is associated with a candidate or resource, job, or position.
