Anonymizing employee records

When Anonymize only is configured for the employee purge function, administrators with the Purge Action Administrator security role can initiate the anonymize action for employee records.

Note: Purge and anonymize actions are permanent, and the data cannot be recovered.
Note: Purge Action Administrators cannot anonymize their own employee data.
  1. Select Purge Actions Administrator > Employee.
  2. Review the employee list. A red exclamation mark indicates that the work assignment for that employee is still active. Work assignments must be inactivated before they can be anonymized.
  3. Double-click an employee to review the preview with details of the data to be anonymized.
  4. Click the Anonymize button.
  5. Specify the scheduling details for the anonymize action, and click OK to run the action immediately.
  6. Click Yes to the Confirmation Required message.
