Adding countries

Use this procedure to add one or more countries that are associated with Infor HR Talent enterprise groups, organizations, and organization units.

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Prerequisites > Countries > Countries.
  2. From the actions menu, select Create.
  3. Specify the identifier and name for the country.
  4. Select the Active check box.
  5. Optionally, specify this information:
    New Display Order
    Specify the number that indicates the order of the country in the list of countries.
    CTL / ATF Watch List
    Select this check box if the country is on the CTL or ATF watch list for sanctions and enforcement regulations.
    AML Watch List
    Select this check box if the country is on the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) watch list.
    Tax ID Check Digit Type
    For systems configured with Infor Financials and Supply Management, select the modulo algorithm method for the check digit.
    ISO Country Number
    Specify the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) number for the country.
    ISO Country Code
    Select the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) code for the country. For example, US for the United States, and FR for France.
    Note: This code is required for countries for which you select configurable features or the configurable feature does not work.
    NGA Country Code
    Specify the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency country code.
    EU Country Number
    Specify the country's European Union (EU) number.
    Telephone Country
    Specify the international dialing code.
    Member Of EU
    Select this check box if the country is a member of the European Union.
    SIC Code Group
    Select the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code.
    NAICS Code Group
    Select the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code.
    Flag Picture
    Browse to and select the flag's image file.
  6. On the Address Rules tab, specify this information:
    Address Display Format
    Specify a two-line address format that can be used in reports and printed labels. Right-click the field and select Variables. Use commas to separate variables.

    For example, a French address format may have {PostalCode},{City} on the first line and {CountryName} on the second line.

  7. On the Address Rules tab, in the Address Entry Rules section, select the number to indicate the order in which each element is displayed. Select the check box if the field is required.
  8. On the Address Entry Test tab, select a country and show the valid address fields for that country. To add latitude, longitude, or altitude, complete the Expanded Address Entry Test tab.
  9. Click Save. The States/Provinces and Regions tabs are displayed.
  10. Click the States/Provinces tab to specify the states or provinces for the country.
  11. Optionally, click the Regions tab to specify the regions for the country.
  12. Click Save.
