Populating turnover reports

Before you can view turnover data in reports, you must generate the turnover data for the period that to report on. By default, the reporting period spans from the day that the data was last generated to the current date, but you can specify a different period. In addition, to view the data in the embedded analytics cubes, you must create the EmployeeTurnover cube for the period.

  1. Run the Create Resource Turnover Analysis action for the period for which to view data. Administrator > Reports > Turnover Analysis > Create Resource Turnover Data
Note: This report creates data in both the TurnoverData business class and the EmployeeTurnover business class.
  2. Specify this information:
Process Work Assignment Changes Since The Last Run.

By default, this check box is selected, and the Enter Process Dates And Times fields are blank.

    Note:

Selecting this check box is the preferred way to run this action to ensure that there are no gaps in the process dates and times.

If this action was run previously, the header text includes the date that the data was last created.

If this is the first time that you run this action, this text is not displayed.

Or Enter Process Dates And Times

If you choose to specify process dates, clear the Process Work Assignment Changes Since the Last Run check box.

Use processing dates to recreate data that had been created previously. For example, to populate a report field that is new to a release, run this report with the begin process date blank and the current date and time as the end date.

  3. To run this action immediately, click OK. To schedule this action to be run at some time in the future, either once or on a periodic schedule, click Schedule, and specify the schedule parameters.
Note: Depending on the volume of data being processed, this action may take a long time. We recommend scheduling the action.
  4. Ask the system administrator to run the createcube command for the EmployeeTurnover cube.
    Note:

This action is run by a system administrator from the environment where Infor HR Talent is installed. Any time you run the Create Resource Turnover Analysis Data action, the cube must be re-created to reflect the new data. For more information, see the Infor HR Talent Configuration Guide.

  5. To view the turnover reports, select Administrator > Reports > Turnover Analysis.
