Maintaining credentials

You can inactivate a credential, delete a credential, or change a credential description on the credentials list. You can also open the credential to perform these tasks. You are required to specify an effective date. If you inactivate a credential, it cannot be selected by a resource or candidate.

  1. Select Administrator > Qualifications > Credentials.
  2. Maintain the credential using this information:
    • To inactivate a credential, click the Active field on the list, select No, and click Save. Specify the effective date when prompted.
    • To update a credential, open the credential. Update the fields, including an effective date. Click Save. You cannot change the credential name.

      To delete a credential, highlight the credential and click Delete. Click OK to confirm. Specify the effective date when prompted. You cannot delete a credential that is attached to a candidate, resource, job, or position.
