Creating currency rate tables

A currency rate table contains a set of currency exchange rates for specific currency relationships. An organization that uses multiple currencies must select the currency rate table that are used to convert the currencies.

A currency rate table is created at the enterprise group level. A currency rate table can contain multiple rates for the same relationship based on effective dates.

Multiple currency rate tables can be defined for a finance enterprise group, but an organization is associated with only one currency rate table.

If your organization does not use multiple currencies, your currency rate table can be empty, without currency relationships or currency rates.

Note: For systems that are configured with Financials and Supply Management and HR Payroll, the finance enterprise group and currency data are created and maintained in Financials and Supply Management. See the Infor HR Talent Configuration Guide for information about configuring shared data with Financials and Supply Management.
