The organization is the top level in your organizational structure. It represents your primary business entity. Jobs, competencies, and resource codes are defined at this level. Defining your organization is one of the most important tasks in Infor HR Talent.

An organization contains a hierarchy of organizational units that define its structure. An organization unit often corresponds to a department or business unit in your company. Critical details about your company, such as resources, are defined at the organization unit level.

Typically, the organization and organization units are set up by an HR administrator.
