Interfacing NPS employee contributions to HRM

Prerequisites for running the employee deduction process flow:
  • Cross Reference Mapping (Company, Employee, Deduction Code)
  • System Configuration (Benefits) [ Properties and Infor Lawson tabs]
  • Interface Set Up
  • Process and Service Definitions
  1. Select Process Server Administrator > Configuration > System Configuration.
  2. Create Benefits and click Save.
  3. On the Properties tab, set up the properties required for Benefits Interface to HRM.
  4. On the Infor Lawson tab, specify the credentials to access HRM.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Select Benefits > Utilities > Interface > Interface Set Up.
  7. On the Interface Setup tab, select the check box for Employee Deduction.
  8. Click Save.
  9. To verify that the HRMEmployeeDeductionExport process is configured correctly, select Process Server Administrator > Configuration > Process Definitions > Application Defined Process.
  10. To verify that HRMEmployeeDeductionExport is configured and service is enabled, select Process Server Administrator > Configuration > Service Definition.
  11. On the Processes tab, verify that the service for HRMEmployeeDeductionExport is enabled.
    The set up for the interface is complete. The next step starts the process flow for HRMEmployeeDeductionExport so that the NPS employee contribution data will be passed to HRM for payroll processing.
  12. Select Process Server Administrator > Scheduling > By Service Definition.
  13. Right-click the HRMEmployeeDeductionExport process flow, and select Start.
  14. To check on the status of the process flow, select Process Server Administrator > Administration > Work Units > Work Units.
  15. Verify that the HRMEmployeeDeductionExport process flow has a status of Completed.
  16. To verify that the Employee Deduction Export Record is successfully interfaced to HRM, select Benefits > Utilities > Interface > Export Records > Standard Deductions.
  17. Verify that the Employee Deduction Export Record has a status of Processed.
