Reviewing a corrective action

To send a corrective action for review, you must have the Manager, Administrator, or HR Generalist role. You can select the Send For Review action for a corrective action that is in Draft status. Infor Process Server is used in the review process. The process is controlled by the setup on the assigned corrective action step.

  • If a review is not set up for the step, the corrective action is automatically placed into a Reviewed status. The corrective action is ready to be issued to the employee.
  • If a review process has been set up, the corrective action is routed to the managers and an HR administrator in the ERDisciplineApproval process as defined in the step. The corrective action is placed into In Review status. When the last reviewer approves the corrective action, it is placed into Issued status.

    After a corrective action is sent for review, the details cannot be changed except for the Meeting Date field. If a corrective action is sent for review in error, or if there are errors in the review, you can use the Revert to Draft action to correct it.

    Note: If your organization permits, you can bypass the approval process for a corrective action that is in In Review status. Select the Manual Approval action to place the corrective action into Reviewed status.
