Inactivating a corrective action

You can inactivate a corrective action. For example, when all associated coachings have been completed satisfactorily. A corrective action can be inactivated only if its status is Issued.

  1. Sign in as Administrator or HR Generalist.
  2. Navigate to Employee Relations > Corrective Actions.
  3. Select the corrective action to be inactivated.
  4. Right-click the corrective action and select the Inactivate action.
  5. Specify this information:
    Inactive Date
    Select the date when this corrective action becomes inactive.
    Reason
    Select a reason for the inactivation.
    Comment
    Provide details about the circumstances for inactivating the corrective action.
  6. Click Submit.
    The corrective action is placed into Inactive status. You can reverse this later by selecting the Reactivate action.
