Requesting to update competency or skill proficiency levels

This action is available only on validated competencies and skills.

  1. Sign in as Employee.
  2. Select My Profile > Talent Profile.
    Or

    Select To Do > Self Report Qualifications > By Qualification.

  3. Open the competency or skill to update.
  4. Select Request To Update Proficiency.
  5. Select the new proficiency (rating level).

    Optionally, specify a reason code, attach a document, or add comments.

  6. Click Submit.
  7. A yellow alert is displayed in the Requested Rating column. It is removed after your manager or administrator updates the proficiency.
  8. To cancel your request, select the skill or competency and select Cancel Request To Update Proficiency.

    The yellow alert is removed.
