Validating checklist components as a peer

If you are validated for a competency or skill, you can validate other resources for that competency or skill. You can validate only if your organization is configured for this.

  1. Sign in as Employee.
  2. Select To Do > Validate Peer Qualifications.
    • The Requested Validations tab shows the checklist components that you have been requested to validate.

    • The Validations Needed Across the Organization tab shows competencies or skills that you are qualified to validate.

  3. Click Validate Peers to view a list of the resources that are awaiting your validation.

    You can validate any of the checklist components at any time. If a mentor or manager validates a checklist component before you do, it is removed from the list.

  4. To validate a checklist component, open the checklist component. If verification of the checklist component or complete criteria is not required, select the component then select Validate.
  5. If the checklist component contains Criteria, select the criteria and select Validate.
  6. Specify the date when the component was validated.
  7. Specify the method that you used to validate the skill or competency.
  8. Click OK.

    The resource is removed from your view.
