Attaching objective goals to bonus periods

  1. Sign in to Infor HR Talent as Employee.
  2. Select To Do > Bonus Objectives.
  3. On the list of compensation programs, select the compensation program.

    The list of active bonus periods for that compensation program displays on the Active tab.

  4. On the Active tab, select the bonus period for which to define bonus-objective goals.
  5. Click Attach Bonus Objective.
  6. You can select up to five goals.

    Goals that can be selected must be in Active status. They must have a goal type with the Use For Bonus Objectives option selected. They cannot be already attached to a bonus objective period.

    Only goals with dates that are included in the bonus period are displayed in the list.

  7. Click OK. The bonus objectives are created if these conditions are met:
    • The total weight of the attached bonus objectives cannot exceed 100 percent.

    • Verify whether the Table Type field on the compensation table for the pay component has a value of Percent Step With Rating For Bonus Objective. If so, the rating scale on the goal being attached must match the rating scale on the compensation table.

  8. If you must make changes to the bonus objective, click Detach Bonus Objective, change the goal as appropriate in Goal Management, then re-attach the goal as a bonus objective.
