Requesting to renew skills or credentials

This action is available only on validated skills and credentials.

You might be required to renew skills and credentials periodically. A red alert is displayed next to a skill or credential that has expired or is about to expire.

Your manager or an administrator can renew your skill or credential, whether you request it or not.

  1. Sign in as Employee.
  2. Select My Profile > Talent Profile.
    Or

    Select To Do > Self Report Qualifications > By Qualification.

  3. Select the competency or credential to renew
  4. Select Request To Renew.
  5. Specify the appropriate date information. Optionally, select a reason code, attach a document, or add comments.
  6. Click Submit.

    An alert is displayed in the Requested Renewal column. It is removed after your manager or administrator renews your skill or credential or cancels your request.

  7. To cancel your request, select the skill or credential and click Cancel Request To Renew.
