Sending an email for a transition task

  1. Sign in as Employee.
  2. Select My Activities > Transition Management.
  3. Click the Email icon for a task on the Assigned Tasks pane of the Assigned Tasks tab or on the Completed Tasks tab.
  4. On the Send Email page, complete these fields:
    Email Template
    Select a predefined email template that was configured by your organization. You might be required to filter the results or to increase the number of results per page. After you select an email template, the To and From fields may be populated automatically.
    Task
    Optionally, select a transition-task type that describes your purpose for sending the email.
    To
    Verify this entry or change it to the email address of the intended email recipient.
    From
    Verify this entry or change it to the email address of the sender.
    CC, BCC
    Optionally, include an email address to receive a copy or blind copy of this email. Your organization might have configured these fields based on template or task type.
    Subject
    Optionally, change this entry to describe the email.
    Body
    Optionally, personalize the message of the email. Formatting tools are available for this field.
    Attachment
    Optionally, attach a document to accompany the email.
  5. Click Send.
