Self-reporting qualifications by position

  1. Sign in as Employee.
  2. Select To Do > Self-Report Qualifications > By Position.
    The Qualifications Required For page is displayed.
  3. On the Unreported tab, complete this information on the Competencies or Skills pane:
    Requested Rating Level
    page is displayed. This page shows only qualifications that are associated with your current position. Qualifications that you have not yet claimed are listed on the Unreported tab. Select the rating level that best describes your current level of proficiency for the selected qualification. Select the rating level that best describes your current level of proficiency for the selected qualification.
    Date Acquired
    Select the date when you achieved your current level of proficiency for the selected qualification.
  4. Click Save.
    The qualification is moved from this tab to the Unvalidated tab as an unvalidated competency or skill with the rating that you claimed.
  5. Complete this information on Credentials:
    Resource
    Select the option that best describes the nature of the credential.
    Credential Number
    Specify your unique credential document number, if any.
    Credential Date
    Select the date when you first acquired the credential.
    Most Recent Renewal
    Select the date when you last renewed the credential.
    Expiration Date
    Select the date when the most-recent instance of this credential is to expire.
  6. Click Save.
    The qualification is moved from this tab to the Unvalidated tab as an unvalidated competency or skill with the rating that you claimed.
  7. Click the Unvalidated tab.
  8. Optionally, open a row on Competencies, Skills, Credentials, Education, or Achievements and change the information about the selected qualification.
  9. To add a new qualification, click Create for the appropriate pane and complete the fields on the detail page.
  10. Click Save.
    Your entry is submitted for validation by your manager or another eligible employee.
  11. On the Validated tab, view your qualifications that your manager or another employee has validated.
  12. Optionally, click Request To Renew, complete the fields, and click Submit.
    Your entry is submitted for renewal approval by your manager or another eligible employee.

  13. Optionally, click Request To Update Proficiency complete the fields, and click Submit.
    Your entry is submitted for validation by your manager or another eligible employee.

  14. Click Calculate Fit to see how your changes affect your fit-analysis results for your current position.
