Rejecting non-required development activity requests

  1. Select Development Planning > Learning Budgets > Prepare Budgets.
  2. On the Requests tab, select the activity to reject.
    Note: You can also reject development activities in Development Planning > Resources > Resource Activities or on the resource's development plan.
  3. Select Reject Activity.
  4. Specify a reason code (required) and optional comments, and click OK.

    The development activity request is removed. If it is associated with the budget, it displays in the budget's Activities Requests region of the budget with a status of Rejected. If it is not associated with a budget, it still displays on the resource's Activity History tab in Learning Activities > Resource Activities.

    Note: Cancel and Waive reason codes are defined in Administrator > Set Up with a subject of HCMEmployeeLearningStopped.
