Validating resource checklist components

Learning managers and administrators are always allowed to validate a checklist component, whether they are themselves validated for the skills or competencies they are validating. It is assumed they will do so only if they have proof that the resource meets the requirements.

Note: Managers, mentors, and peers can also validate checklist components (if the checklist component is defined to allow them to validate). Only learning managers and administrators can revert validated checklist components.
  1. Select Development Planning > Development Tasks or Administrator > To Do > Development Tasks.
Note: You can also access a checklist component on Development Planning > Checklists > Monitoring. You can either locate the component on the Development Tasks tab or open the checklist that the component belongs to on the Resource Checklists tab.
  2. Locate and select the specific resource component to validate.
  3. Select Actions > Validate.
  4. Specify this information.
