Out-of-budget development activity requests

Note: Not applicable if you are using Infor Learning Management.

Any development activity request that is submitted against a finalized budget is considered an out-of budget development activity request. For managers and resources, there is no difference between in-budget and out-of-budget activity requests. Learning managers can make any activity request submitted after the budget is finalized part of the finalized budget. Learning managers can also exclude from the budget activity requests that were originally part of the finalized budget. This flexibility allows learning managers to adjust to changes in the resources' assignments or employment status.

When an activity request is submitted against an already finalized budget, it inherits any estimated costs associated with the development activity. Learning managers can modify these costs as long as the activity request remains in Requested status.

After an activity request is rejected, approved, or cancelled, you can only add actual costs to the activity request.
