Provider contract status

Note: Not applicable if you are using Infor Learning Management.

You can create a contract with a status of Proposed or Active. Other statuses are Cancelled and Completed.

  • A proposed contract is a contract that may not be completed yet but that you still want it to exist in the system for planning purposes. You can still make changes to a proposed contract. You cannot associate a session with a proposed contract.

  • There is no routing of a proposed contract. When the contract is finalized (outside of the Development Planning application), the learning manager manually approves the proposed contract to make it active.

  • An active contract is presumably a finalized contract with actual numbers. A contract must be active for a learning manager to associate it with a session or to add payments against it.

Note: After payments are added against the contract, you can no longer change the currency. You cannot change the contract amount to be less than the payments that are added against the contract.
  • You can cancel both active and proposed contracts. You must provide a cancellation reason. When a contract is cancelled, you can delete it or reactivate it.

Note: Cancellation Reason is a reason code set up in Infor HR Talent Set Up by the administrator.
  • A contract is automatically completed when the final payment is added for the contract.
