Approving or rejecting registration requests

Note: Not applicable if you are using Infor Learning Management. Infor Learning Management uses its own approval process

When a resource requests a registration, and the organization requires manager approval, the request is displayed to the resource's manager as needing approval. If the manager is not available to approve, the learning manager can use this procedure to monitor the status of requested registrations and approve or reject them as needed.

Note: The learning manager can also approve or reject requisition requests for a specific session from the Requested tab of Development Planning > Registration And Completion > Manage Registrations or from a specific resource's activity record. (Select Development Planning > Resources > Resource Activities. Open the activity for the resource and select the Registrations tab.)
  1. Select Development Planning > Registration And Completion > Session Registrations.

    All requested, confirmed, and wait listed registrations for all sessions display.

  2. To view only requested activities, click the Search icon and filter on the Requested status.
  3. To reject a registration request, select it, select Actions > Reject, specify a reason code (required) and optional comments, and click OK.
  4. To approve a registration request, select it, and select Actions > Approve.
  5. To approve a registration request for a different session, select it, select Actions > Approve For Different Session, select a different session, and click OK.

    The resource's registration is either confirmed or wait listed as determined by the session capacity and organization learning rules related to wait listing.

    If automatic email notifications are configured for "Registration Confirmed" and "Registration Waitlisted", the appropriate notifications are sent.
